The Schreckhise Family: Answering the Call to Europe

After 18 years of faithful service in Central America, Marc, Lori, and their 11-year-old son Samuel Schreckhise are embarking on a new chapter in their missionary journey. Their mission, Europe for Christ, will take them across Germany, the Netherlands, and Ireland, equipping local ministries, strengthening families, and sharing the life-changing message of the gospel.



### A Legacy of Dedication 


The Schreckhises are no strangers to the missionary field. For nearly two decades, they worked tirelessly in Honduras, Guatemala, and El Salvador. With unwavering commitment, they often traveled up to 50 hours to preach at churches and meet with ministry contacts. Under their leadership, 18 ministers were trained and equipped to continue the work they began.



Their dedication didn't stop there. The family also served briefly in Ecuador, where they ministered to people in remote jungles and coastal areas. Each week, they made 7-hour journeys—one way—to bring the Word of God to communities in need.



### A New Horizon: Europe 


Now, God has placed a new burden on their hearts: Europe. While this mission field may look different from Central or South America, the need for the gospel is just as great. The Schreckhises will face new challenges as they seek to minister to a diverse and complex cultural landscape across Germany, the Netherlands, and Ireland. Their focus will include training and mentoring pastors, supporting ministry families, and reaching the lost in both urban and rural communities.



Samuel, their 11-year-old son, is excited to be part of this mission. Growing up on the mission field has given him a unique perspective, and he is eager to support his parents in their work.



### The Call to Partner 


The responsibility ahead is heavy, but the Schreckhises are ready to answer God's call once again. They cannot, however, do it alone. This new mission requires faithful partners who will support them through prayer, encouragement, and financial contributions.
